Spent 700$ on a smartphone, is it worth it ? I studied facts and it came out to be the manufacturer made a profit of nearly 300$. It feels like I just gifted a Samsung Galaxy S4(300$ gift ) to the manufacturer for buying an iPhone (carrier-unlocked version) from him.
But to back me up from the harsh disappointment for the sequential price hike for every iPhone with ascending nos. I surfed a little bit more about smartphones and everything feels rational. Apple is the best company, I am happy to be part of it as a consumer but why it's price reaching the sky? Because it has no competitor, so it can raise as much price as it can.Samsung is way ahead of Apple in terms of innovation but is still behind in terms of safety protocols and experience.
Annually I spend 1500$ on gadgets but wonder why an iPhone is 700$ and yet so small and I could buy a good TV instead.
I got stunned when I showed it to my grandma, and as I was explaining its features, she asked me whether it can perform calls and sent text messages. I said yes, she said then what else you want a cellphone to do. You got 700$ smartphone I got 200$ cellphone, both makes calls, my boy you just got trolled. plus in this innovative era , that people are judging others by the smartphone(price) they have.
Now that I have an expensive smartphone for xyz reason, it means that I am 80% more vulnerable for security and attacks.LOL what an advantage it is ..:)
But still next time I will definatly buy an iPhone .
